Bermies

Bermies is a brand of swimwear created by Uki Deane, an Argentinian entrepreneur. Bermies was featured on Season 9 Episode 24 of Shark Tank, but failed to secure a deal from any Shark.

About the Product

Bermies create several types of swimwear, for both men and women. Bermies markets itself as being much more comfortable than entry-level swimwear, while still being cheaper than higher-level swimwear brands.

On Shark Tank

The Sharks found the Bermies swim trunks to be comfortable, but they did not see a clear plan for selling and marketing the trunks. They were also concerned that the Bermies swim trunks are a small fish in a big pond: there are many other brands of swim trunks, some of which may already provide the level of comfort that Bermies provides.
