Lace Your Face

Lace Your Face is a patented compression “sheet mask” which is the primary product of Dermovia, a skin-care company created by Mariella Scott and Anita Sun Eisenberg. Lace Your Face was featured on Season 9 Episode 24 of Shark Tank. Scott and Eisenberg made a deal with Lori Greiner for $350k for a 15% stake in the company.

About the Product

Lace Your Face is a “sheet mask”, a type of fabric which is meant to fit to your face and passively clean your skin through some sort of facial cleaning product applied to the fabric. However, while other sheet masks easily slip off, Lace Your Face uses a patented fastening mechanism with an ear hook which makes it easy both to apply and remove the face mask.

On Shark Tank

Lace Your Face was well-received by the Sharks, but some of the Sharks quickly went out either due to a lack of understanding of the cosmetic industry, or a perception that the competition would likely be too intense for Lace Your Face to be successful. When Scott and Eisenberg revealed a purchase order for a large number of units, however, the Sharks regained interest, and Lori Greiner quickly accepted an offer for $350k for a 15% stake in the company.
